I’m Maria Carrillo López, a Senior Art Director with nearly a decade of international experience at McCann Romania, LePub Italy, and now DAVID Madrid.
I believe bold ideas can push boundaries and open space for more inclusive, meaningful conversations in our industry. That belief has led me to focus on work that promotes equality, challenges stereotypes, and builds meaningful conversations. This vision has been recognized with over 50 international and regional awards, including 12 Cannes Lions for 6 different ideas. In 2024, I was selected for the global See It Be It cohort, a milestone that reflects my personal mission to advocate for equity and representation in the creative industry.
As an active member of Más Mujeres Creativas, a network in Spain that supports and uplifts women in advertising, I advocate for equity, and inclusion in our industry. I believe there’s no shortage of talent, only a lack of visibility. Our industry needs more voices shaping what comes next, and I’m here to be part of that change.
